Aore Island Resort greets its guests with scenic views of untouched paradise, and that friendly Vanuatu spirit tourists fall in love with.
Right on the beach and surrounding by tropical coconut plantations, you’ll instantly feel a million miles from home when you arrive at the island resort. Just across the channel from Vanuatu’s largest island Espiritu Santo, locals know this area to be an incredible asset and visitors will struggle to disagree. It’s a mecca for divers and adventurers, but is equally suited to those looking for a relaxing holiday destination to sit back and relax in.
The boutique island resort is a short ferry trip away from the hustle and bustle of Espiritu Santo, where guests looking for shopping and adventure activities will be spoilt for choice. For those times when you do stay within resort grounds, however, you will have an array of things to do right at your fingertips.
Plunge into the 12m pool for a refreshing change from the spectacular ocean, or simply chill out in your beachfront bungalow as you marvel at the sandy coral beach alongside you.
The resort centres around a large terraced area, housing a bar, restaurant and lounge. Enjoy poolside meals and wander the grounds in the evening, sipping cocktails as you watch the sun go down over this tranquil island. Alternatively, take your loved ones to the lounge bar to listen to a local string band play beautiful songs.
The in-house restaurant will please all palates, whether you’re interested in local seafood, Santo beef or even a cheeky pizza. Make sure you don’t miss Island Night, where dancers join with a string band to perform for all the guests. Take a sip of Kava and let the night take you away!

This is truly one of the few places in the world where you can be on a beach alone, dive or snorkel with a thousand colourful fish, explore the tribal and ritualistic cultural sites and follow it up with dinner on a jetty overlooking the South Pacific.
For holiday makers, the beauty of Espiritu Santo is unmatched. Jewel like islands lay just a few hundred metres from coconut fringed beaches lined with powdery white sand. Amazing blue water swimming holes are connected by underground caverns, and majestic mountains stretching from one end of the island to the other.
