You’ll also have access to a cot, high chair, stroller, nursing mat, resting chair, baby bathtub, plastic potty and all other child-friendly tools you need.

Location
Sunwing Bangtao is located directly on the white sand of Bangtao Beach on the west side of Phuket Island. The resort is approximately 30 min drive from Phuket International Airport and with several restaurants near by as well as other tourist destinations such as Laguna (10 mins away) and Patong approximately 30 mins away. It’s a great place to base yourself.
Facilities
There are six large swimming pools, 2 of which are kids pools plus a swim-up bar, waterslides & playground area. There is also a minimart, fitness centre, fully licensed clinic, indoor and outdoor games, outdoor massage area, Kids club as well as a dedicated teen zone and much more. The resort provides guests with daytime entertainment, sport activities and children’s activities including Play & Chat house. Everything you need is at your doorstep. It’s just a matter of choosing what to do.
Dining
The resort has 2 main restaurants both located on the beachfront.
PIAK’s Kitchen – all day dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located on the beach front and offering an extensive menu from Thai, other Asian and Western meals.
Fino – open for dinner only, also located on the beachfront offering a little more of fine dining with a range of dishes from Asian to Western
Pool bar – Open daily from 10 – 8pm chill out by or in the pool with your favourite drink
Lounge bar – located by the lobby to enjoy a drink during the day or evening you can even enjoy a game of pool while you relax
Minimart – located off the lobby the minimart sells a range of things from food and drinks to every day essentials all at reasonable pricing so you don’t need to go down the road to the local minimart for anything extra you need.
Entertainment
The Lime Show Bar, located within the resort is guaranteed to bring out the talent in you. So whether you’re a guitarist or a singer, a juggler or a stand-up comedian, this is the place where you get to showcase your talent. This bar offers a variety of colourful concoctions and alcohol. So grab yourself a beer or that exquisite cocktail and get ready to shine in the limelight.
Room Facilities
No matter the size, shape or configuration of your family, from a compact party of two to an entire tribe of loved ones, over 200 studios and family suites will ensure the utmost comfort and luxury for one and all.
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, shower, full amenities, satellite TV, movie channel, hair dryer, big-sized fridge, working desk, sofabed, safety box, coffee/tea making facilities, microwave, light kitchen equipment but no stove, bathrobes, Internet connection data port and private oversized balcony or terrace overlooking the fragrant gardens or pools or aquamarine Andaman Sea.
Studio
The most common category with combined living room and bedroom offering a very spacious and comfortable 44 – 55 sq.m. Each room is ideally designed for a family and has the added benefit of a microwave oven for those quick snacks for the kids. All rooms have a balcony and face the huge free form swimming pools that form the central focus of the resort. Bathrooms feature shower only.
Happy Baby Studio
Specially equipped rooms for families with babies. The rooms are always at ground level with an enclosed terrace with a gate that can be locked. Additional amenities include: cot/crib, a high-chair, a stroller, a Bumbo baby-sitter, a parasol, sun chairs, children’s crockery and cutlery, plastic Polly stool in the bathroom, non-slippery carpet in shower and nursing mat. The room size is 44 sq. m. Bathrooms feature shower only but have a baby bath for the little ones.
Royal Studios
Same as the Studio rooms but located in more premium locations, also overlooking the pools and offering a few more amenities on your arrival such as snacks, drinks, fruit and water for your consumption.
Royal pool access studio
These are the same as the Royal Studios but are located on the ground floor with direct access to the pool with their own sun lounges on the terrace. Kids under 6 are not allowed in these rooms for safety reasons.
Family Suites
These are a two bedroom suite (one room with king bed one with twin bedding) + sofa and trundle so can sleep up to 6 also featuring 2 bathrooms with shower only these rooms are ideal for larger families not wanting 2 separate rooms but who need more space.
